Lion club Mangalore-Pandeshwar conducted their Installation of newly elected members on the 1st of July 2018. "Together we Can", was the motto literally adapted by the members on this day, by working together and making the program a grand success. Kudos to Lion Ravishankar, mjf the treasurer-elect, who was on his toes, following up with the caterers & Beverage suppliers. Printing the banners, and certificates as well as planning the event. LionSahin the secretary elect elegantly checked out all the necessities to ensure the success of the installation. President-elect designed the banners, invitation cards, invitation list, and other necessary logistics for the event.

Lion Balasubramanya started the event, by inviting guests to the Dias. He helped out with preparing the Welcome speech, and vote of thanks, as well as double-checking the agenda for the evening. He also gave an introduction to the new PST during the installation.

Lion Shailesh, in absence of President Shivakumar Pailoor, took over the podium and conducted the role of the president, with accuracy and a professional manner. Lion Divya Ravishankar welcomed our guest of honor Kavita Shastri, followed by a very beautiful Ganapati recitation by LionMohan. Lion Ravindra conducted flag salutation, followed by Shailesh's son Sanath reading out the lion's code of ethics was all executed with perfection. Lion Hemanth,mjf introduced new member Limesh Mathew, followed by Lion Rakesh's extraordinary introduction of the guest of honor PDG Kavita Shastri. Lion Varun read out the honoring of outstanding children, followed by Lion Ullas Kumar who read out the details regarding the release of a traffic awareness video and donation to Akshaya Patra.

Several Service Activities were conducted during the occasion; Children of club members with Outstanding academic excellency were honored by the guest of honor PDG Kavita Shastri. Dr.Shilpa Shriya, d/o Lion Hemanth Kumar, mjf and Lion Manisha, Miss Neha Mayya d/o of Lion Balasubramanya, and Mrs.Sandhya Mayya, as well as Miss Nidhi B.K d/o B.S Kishore and Mrs.Ashritha, were honored during the occasion.

A Video on Traffic Safety Awareness was released by Kavita Shastri. The video is produced & directed by Lion Vinod Devasia, mjf. An amount of rs.12,500 was donated to Akshaya Patra, in which Dr.Suhith donated 6500rs, along with Lion Vinod's donation of rs.3000 and the club members rs.3500. A New lion Limesh Mathew was also inducted into the club, by the installing officer during the occasion. Sponsor for the same was new President Lion Vinod Devasia, mjf.

Lion Mohan also sponsored flowers for the guest of honor and guests, as well as helped with so many things around the hall. He also sponsored the cost of Media expenses. Lion Suresh and Lion Deepak helped out at the bar. Lion Kishore, Lion Venketesh, Lion M.R Naik, and Lion Gregory greeted the guests, keeping them feel at home, in line with the spirit of lionism. The installation finished well within the time limit, which was highly appreciated by all the guests.
